H2020-HCA cluster publishes its third and final newsletter

Today, on the last official day of ESPACE, we published the third and final edition of the H2020-HCA Cluster Newsletter in collaboration with our sister projects in the cluster – you can read it here.

The group consists of representatives from the six pilot actions (BRAINTIME, discovAIR, ESPACE, HCA|Organoid, HUGODECA, HUTER) that were funded under the Horizon 2020 call H2020-SC1-2019 to contribute to the Human Cell Atlas (HCA) initiative.

The June 2022 edition included three articles by members of the ESPACE’s consortium:

  • ESPACE final meeting
    The rationale behind ESPACE is to develop a first version of the Human Cell Atlas of the pancreas. The final consortium meeting on June 2 provided a platform for the group to discuss the progress they have made over the last two and a half years and strategize about their collaboration during the final project month and beyond. Read more »
  • ESPACE: Interview with Dr Timo Trefzer, Researcher at the Berlin Institute of Health at Charité
    ESPACE’s communication team recently caught up with Dr Timo Trefzer of the Berlin Institute of Health at Charité in Germany to learn more about his work in Work Package 2 (Single cell molecular profiling of the healthy human pancreas) and congratulate him on recently completing his PhD. Read more »
  • ESPACE webinar recap: Building a Human Cell Atlas of the Pancreas
    On 31 May 2022, ESPACE hosted its second Industry-Academia workshop. Close to 40 participants from the ESPACE consortium, other research centres and the industry attended this online event to learn more about recent developments in single-cell technologies and research with a focus on the pancreas. Read more »
