Privacy

Our policy on protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data is based on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR).

What data do we collect, and how?

Some data are provided directly by you, e.g. the data you enter in our contact form when sending us a message.

Other data are collected automatically when you access our website. These are general nature only and contain information such as the type of web browser, the operating system used, or the domain name of your Internet service provider. This information is technically necessary to correctly deliver the contents of web pages requested by you and is collected via cookies.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive and saved by your browser and allow us to automatically receive certain data, such as IP address, browser used, or operating system. They cannot be used to launch programs or to transfer viruses to your computer and have the sole purpose to facilitate navigation and enable the correct display of our websites.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies” and are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain in your device’s memory until you delete them.

Of course, you can also view our website without cookies, and you are given this choice when you first access our site. Some features may not work though if you have disabled the use of cookies.

In no case will the data collected by us be passed on to third parties or a link with personal data will be established without your consent.

How are your data stored?

For data provided through the contact form, we receive an email with your contact data and your message.

Other than that, the website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in “server log files”. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

These data will not be combined with data from other sources.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

What do we use your data for?

The information you provide in the contact form are used to respond to you in an appropriate manner and will not be used for any other purpose. As mentioned above, some of the data that are collected automatically help ensure the proper functioning of the website.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right to have your personal data corrected, and/or restrict us from processing your personal data at any time unless the processing is lawful. You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Please feel free to contact us for any such request, or if you have further questions about the issue of privacy and data protection. You may also, of course, file a complaint with the competent regulatory authorities.
